Located in the lap of Dhauldhar mountains, the upper Dharamsala also known as Mcleodganj is a beautiful place to visit. A great place to introduce yourself to Tibetan culture, enjoy trekking and paragliding and eat delicious food. People will warn you that there is nothing much touristy to do in Mcleodganj but this is not the truth. This place is an experience that one needs to live. By the time you leave this place you'll already fall in love with the mountains, the people and the rain that will play hide and seek at times.

Mecleodganj or Mecloadganj is a beautiful place to visit. The weather very much difference from lower Dharamshala will provide you a change from the usual weather in the plains. The air here is so fresh that it will rejuvenate you from inside. A wonderous experience Mecleodganj is.
Norbulingka or Norbu-lingka is a Tibetan word that in English means ‘Jewelled Garden’ or a ‘Treasure Garden’.Norbulingka also serves as the summer retreat of the Dalai Lama. This monastery is beautiful beyond your imagination.
Nearby to Norbulinka, there is another Monastery that is a must visit. Gyuto is on same levels in terms of beauty compared to the summer retreat of Dalai Lama
Triund is an amazing trekking destination for beginners, for more experienced ones they have an option to move upto snow point or go for a two day treks a little bit further. You can camp on the hill top at night or return same day. Although overnight stay is recommended because the skyline of Dharamshala gets as beautiful as it slowly gets engulfed in darkness.
Bhagsunag waterfall is situated in the Bhagsu temple area is a very calm and beautiful location to spend some time.
Dalai Lama Temple Complex is nearby to Mecloadganj circle, Kora walk in the jungle around the temple complex is a real soothing experience.
Paragliding in Bir is one amazing experience. The view of Kangra valley when you fly above the valley is just mesmerizing. It is an experience of a lifetime.
