Namaste Everyone (Greetings in Dravidan Language -South India)
Am doing Good and hope You all doing Good, there is a mantra in Sanskrit
"Sarve Jano sukinho bavanthu"
Which means, praying the God to offer a happiness to all the people. By chanting this mantra, am gonna share my travel tale of my cycle journey from Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka to Mangalore, the port city.
Firstly, am gonna give quick introduction about myself.
A man born with a dream and struggling to achieve a name and fame in the society but the time in his life made him to sacrifice his dream for the sake of family. From then he started living a common man's routine life
>> Wake up
>> Office
>> Sleep
This routine life made him to loose hope and happiness in my life, he was just turning into a machine with no challenges and risks. There was no happiness in his life so one fine day he decided to seek something new experiences. So there he left home with some of his savings and a bicycle. Almost he travelled for five days and all the days was filled with challenges, risk and he felt himself getting refreshed. From then he started traveling to unknown places and meet soe people who love traveling, listened to their stories and made a decision to become a "Traveller".
After many days couple of friends joined him and planned for the same cycle journey and there we started our journey from Bengaluru to Mangalore in a cycle.
This is how we re created the old memories with the new passion and ideas.
Day 1
We started our journey with the blessings of our goddess "Sri Sollapuradamma Devi"
Headed towards Bangalore - Mangalore highway
Via Thalegari checkpost, Hedyur,Bellur cross
It was almost 2 PM when we reached Bellur cross, we had the plan of exploring the cave temple in our first day of journey but it was a bad luck the temple will open only once in the morning. We decided to end the day 1.
Day 2
Almost 6 AM in the morning we packed up our bags and rounded the peddles of cycle and headed towards Channarayana patna.
Then we continue our journey towards the destination, on the way via Mangalore highway we spotted a cave temple in Hirriseve
Continued the ride till sunset and reached Sakleshpura. And there we ended our day 2 journey.
Day 3
30 kms fully down in the Ghat section, it's a ride to heaven feel seriously. Then we saw a toddy shop and decided to taste the toddy.
"For the true taste of South India, Try Toddy"
Toddy: Palm wine, known by several is an alcoholic beverage created from the of various species such as palms, coconuts.
Then we moved to the nearby water reservoir and enjoyed the play with water.
The day spent with the taste of toddy and dipping in water but as per the plan we must reach Dharmasthala on the end of day 3. The whole day spent with joy and fun and hence we decided to reach the destination and continued our journey.
Day 4
Midnight 3 Am we reached Dharmasthala.
Dharmasthala: A religious sacred temple with the attractions surrounded by
Day 5
The day started with a cup of coffee. Sipping a coffee we planned our NXT destination and got ready for a ride.
We headed towards Mangalore with lot of trouble reached Mangalore by evening. Booked a room in centre of city and ended up with a party and conversation of overall journey.
Day 6
As per the plan we packed up our cycles and luggages in Mangalore railway station and then finished all the procedure for booking train tickets including goods.
We were left with 10 hours of time and hence we visited the famous Kadri temple and spent the other time in Surathkal beach watching a sunset.
It was time to end the journey, came back to railway station and returned to our hometown
BENGALURU...
When we start sharing the tales of traveling, there will be beggining and end of the journey but end of the journey doesn't mean it's ending, it's a hope of new adventure awaits.
