Bandhavgarh National Park is in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

This biodiverse park is known for its large population of royal Bengal tigers, especially in the central Tala zone. Other animals include white tigers, leopards and deer. The mix of tropical forest, Sal trees and grassland is home to scores of bird species, including eagles. To the south are the remains of the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort.

We took a detour during one of our several jungle safaris , and got invited by a Forest Guard to his Jungle Check-post / Home & got a chance to understand "LIFE IN THE JUNGLE".

The Guard's home is located in Pure Tiger Territory and Tigers walk around the area almost daily.

It's one thing to see a tiger in a safari , even in the jungle , but living there , is just something else!!
