Itinerary
Day 1
- On arrival at Srinagar airport meet our representative and get a transfer to deluxe houseboat/hotel
- Leave for Mughal Gardens. Visit Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh
- All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background
- The distance from Srinagar to these gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Visit carpet-weaving factory on the way
- Dinner and overnight stay in deluxe houseboats/hotel at Srinagar
Day 2
- After breakfast, leave for a full day excursion to Sonamarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar
- On the way, stop at many beautiful spots for sightseeing
- Continue your drive to Sonamarg – Gateway of Ladakh. One can ride on horse to visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year
- Overnight stay at houseboat/hotel in Srinagar
Day 3
- After breakfast, leave for Full day trip to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers), 2730 mts above the sea level
- The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes
- One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits
- The view on the route from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek to Khilangmarg, which can be covered in about 3 hrs
- Also, enjoy sledge riding on snow. Chair lifts for mountain ride are also available
- Return back to Srinagar. In the evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting the floating market
- Also, witness walnut woodcarving and paper machine making demonstration
- Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar hotel.
Day 4
- After breakfast, leave for a full day trip to the valley of Shepherds – Pahalgam (110kms, 3 1/2 hrs)
- You will have a rare opportunity to visit the Saffron fields on the way
- On the way, visit Awantipora Ruins & Anantnag Sulpher Springs to explore the countryside and enjoy leisurely walks through the pine forest along the river Lidder, and will proceed for Aru valley and chandanwari by car
- The route is picturesque with ample campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier
- Later, return to Srinagar & overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar
Day 5
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel
- We will assist you with transfers to the airport with memories of Kashmir
