Itinerary
Day 1
- Day 1st: Arrival on stunning Srinagar
- Our starting point of this adventurous trip is Srinagar. So, on our day one of this expedition, we will receive you the Srinagar airport. Our guest executives would be right there to give you a warm welcome at the Srinagar airport. Upon meeting you, we will transfer you to the houseboat. A specialty of Kashmir, houseboat offers you one-of-its-kind accommodation experience that you can’t afford to miss.
- After doing the check-in formalities at the houseboat, make yourself refreshed with a hot cup of Kehwa or any herbal tea. In the evening, go out to take a walk on the roads of Srinagar and explore some of the local places. Buy some of the best hand-crafted materials from Mall Road and calm down your hunger pangs with some of the delicious local street food delicacies such as Halva-paratha, Laayeh and Nadir Monji. Return back to your houseboat early and continue your overnight stay in luxurious houseboat.
Day 2
- Day 2nd: Day dedicated to explore the local wonders of Srinagar
- On our second day of Srinagar travel, we will explore some of the main local attractions of Srinagar. As we are going to visit many places today, we will take an early morning breakfast in the houseboat. Our first destination would be the Mughal Garden. Known for its abundant natural beauty and quaint environment, Mughal Garden will gratify all your senses. Our other destinations to explore today would be The NihatBagh (The Garden of Pleasure ), Shalimar Bagh, and Shankaracharya Temple. Srinagar is a place where you will find many natural lakes as well. So, we will also explore some of the famous ones today. Exploring all these places will consume our entire day and we will return to our houseboat by late evening. A sumptuous dinner would be waiting for you. Relish over it and retire to the bed to refresh yourself for another day full of fun and excitement.
Day 3
- Day 3rd: The home of adventures- Gulmarg
- Our next destination to explore on our third day of the trip would be Gulmarg. Reckoned to the best skiing destination in India, Gulmarg is situated at a distance of 60 km from Srinagar. We will start our road journey to this amazing place after breakfast. To reach the places, we will pass through from one of the most picturesque areas. As soon as we will reach Gulmarg, the splendid nature and snow-clad mountains will fill you with altogether a different excitement. A Gondola ride in Gulmarg is what every tourist should experience without fail. The view of snowy mountains from the heights is totally mesmerizing and will be etched in your mind forever. You can reach Khilanmarg from Gulmarg with the help of this Gondola ride. We will be back from the Khilanmarg to Gulmarg soon after as Gandola ride is not allowed during the late evening. We know that it would be hard for you to bid adieu to that wonderful place but it is for your own safety. You can utilize your spare time by exploring other nearby places. Seek the blessings of almighty at Baba Reshi Shrine, find eternal peace in St. Mary’s Church, and witness the true beauty of nature at Aparwath Lake. After doing all these activities, you simply require some rest in your hotel room. Return back to your hotel and continue your overnight stay.
Day 4
- Day 4th: Phenomenal Pahalgam
- Today, our next destination to explore would be Pahalgam. Situated at a distance of 95kms from Srinagar, Pahalgam is a must-visit place. Our full day would be dedicated to exploring the wonders of Pahalgam. The first thing that you will notice about Pahalgam would be its Saffron fields that give an impression as if the land has taken a saffron-colour shawl all over. The view will stun you totally. AvantipuraRuims and Anantang would be our other places to visit. Mamaleshwar Temple is an ancient temple of Pahalgam that represents the rich history of these places with pride. If you an adventurous traveller then go for a rough trek on Kolahoi Glacier. We will start our return journey to Srinagar as the sun sets. After reaching to Srinagar late evening, we will enjoy our overnight stay.
Day 5
- Day 5th: Get lost in the heart of Himalayas, Sonmarg
- Splendid Sonmarg would be our next place to explore on the fifth day of the trip. Your Kashmir visit will not be completed without visiting Sonmarg. Filled with many surreal travelling destinations, Sonmarg will please you by all means. To reach these wonderful places, we will hit the road early in the morning after breakfast. After around three hours long journey via NH 1, we will reach our destination. You will get to see many lakes of pristine and crystal clear water in Sonmarg. The snow-covered mountains at the background increase the beauty of the lakes by two folds. Satsar Lake, Gadsar Lake, Gangabal Lake, Krishnasar Lake, and Vishansar Lake are some of the worth visiting lakes that will leave you spellbound with their amazing natural beauty. Apart from lakes, Thajiwas Glacier is another major tourist attraction of Sonmarg. The refreshing green meadows, numerous waterfalls, and snow-covered mountains in the background make it a total stunner. We will return back to our Srinagar hotel by late evening. Day 6
- Day 6th: End of the trip-Srinagar Drop
- On the sixth day of the trip, we will say goodbye to all these splendid places and start our return journey to the respective places with a heavy heart. After taking breakfast in the morning, we will complete all the check-out formalities. Once we are done with everything, we will drop at the Srinagar airport as per your departure schedule Continue your onwards journey from there and take many memories back home.
