Paithalmala is a hill station in Kannur district of Kerala in India which is near to Pottenplave village and trust me this is a real heaven for photographers and selfie lovers. The dense forest treks and lush green fields will make you feel like you are really in some other place.
The trip started from Banglore to Iritty an overnight journey. From Iritty i took a cab to Kudiyanmala Village which is hardly 25-30km and later my jeep came to pick me up for the Resort.
FYI this is an original photo no editing, So after chilling in Resort which was really beautiful i went for the trek which starts from the Resort itself. The trek seems like it is easy but trust me it is not that easy as others say because there are 2 ways to cover this trek
One is from Pottenplava village and other which I took from the resort , and this was the difficult one ,anyways with very dense forest and small paths with no sign boards or trails to see
And somehow i managed to trek all the way to the top but after all those efforts the view made me feel good and energetic.
So finally Reached at the top and you should really take your time to see the beauty of those never ending mountains and feel that fresh air.
And you can see the karnataka-kerala border too.
This is a very small but a little tough trek as the route is covered totally in forest but hey if there are no difficulties than what is the point of trekking!
And there’s no need for taking so much of things in your bag with you just carry small things and some energy bars or maybe peanut butter :-D and just believe in yourself !
Hope this helps! Keep trekking.
Peace!!
