About the workshop

Stressed out and need a break? Then this workshop is for you. Illustrator Vaibhav Tyagi takes you on a therapeutic art journey where you will paint beautiful botanical patterns using acrylic colours on a clear phone cover. At the end of the class, you will have a calmer mind, a new skill and a brand new cover for your phone. It’s a win-win! Here’s what the course includes:

• Introduction to Vaibhav and his work as an urban illustrator

• DIY project: Let’s start painting!
  – Drawing easy floral patterns
  – Basics of color mixing
  – A one-stroke technique to create your pattern
  – Colours, contrasts and other techniques to elevate your art

About the host

Vaibhav Tyagi is an illustrator in Delhi known for his botanical and nature-inspired illustrations. He also works as a freelance editorial illustrator for children’s books and fictional novels.

White sheets (for rough use)
Acrylic paints
Round brushes sizes 2, 4, 6
Color mixing palette
A jar of water 
Tissue paper /an old cloth
