Hi, I'm Mark Travel has been a huge part of my life for the last 15 or so years. I have lived and travelled around Australia and New Zealand. I have travelled throughout the USA and Canada, Southern Africa, much of South America, through China and parts of South and South-East Asia. These travel experiences inspired me to join the travel industry and use my experiences to help others see the world. As a tour operator I visited a number of exclusive resorts in the Maldives, Mauritius, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and West Coast USA. There are many highlights to my travel experience; an overnight canoe trip in the Canadian Rockies, stalking out a Leopard in Etosha National Park in Namibia, a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon, sleeping in yurts in Mongolia and snorkelling with turtles in the Maldives. When I returned from my second big trip in 2010 I decided to start up a rather unique canal boat tour business called Wandering Duck. Together with my wife we took people for 2 or 3 days out on the UK's canal system. The tours were a lot of fun and 4 year and 2 awards later we sold the business on. Wandering Duck continues with Lee & Roberta who themselves have travelled much of the world and were looking for a unique adventure. I now work for myself as an independent travel agent, planning complex trips for people. I absolutely love my job! Although I am independent, trading simply as "Mark Bratt Travel", I am actually part of a larger consortium called "Independent Travel Experts" which means I can offer the highest level of consumer protection and I have access to good commercial rates. Anyway, more importantly I hope I can inspire you by adding some of the great trips I have arranged for people on to Tripoto. I can help you plan and book these, or you can simply steal my ideas, I really don't mind. It's nice to share. Happy travels! Mark
