Enter the Balkans- Croatia...on the coast of Adriatic sea is a treat to the eyes with its breathtaking view of the harbor, the blue waters and pebbled shore, the old towns of Split and Trogir, the happening city of Dubrovnik and the Plitvice national park with its lush green landscape. My ever-treasured trip with friends.

Statue of Gregory of Nin. He was a bishop of Nin and introduced masses (only Latin earlier) in local language for people to understand and follow. Rubbing the statue's toe is said to bring good luck.

A joyous experience on the Dalmatian coastine- reiterates life is worth living every minute

he fish market of Split with the day's fresh catch. What is unique about this market is that there are no flies hovering around the catch due to the architecture of the place.

Day 3

Plitvice national park in Croatia has around 16 lakes and 90 waterfalls. The scenery can magically change from lush green to deep blue to pristine white. Its natural therapy and be prepared for a good 1 day trek, it has different pick up and drop points, don't forget to carry the map of the park for reference.

One of the falls that flow right through the walking path. It's wonderful how they have constructed this path through the woods.
The pristine lakes work as therapy for the stressed restless souls

The picture perfect walkway is a photographer's delight
