We visited Kerela last week and one of the place that we really wanted to visit was Mighty Jatayu's Earth Center which symbolises Protection of Women.
It is located 1000ft above he sea level and measures 200 x 150 x 70 ft which is also a World's Largest Bird Statue and a perfect example of modern Architectural wonder of this era.
Transportation:
Jatayu's Earth Center is located in Kollam District of Kerala and is 28 kms far from Varkala. We rented a scooty from Varkala and reached there in 50 mins.
Entry Fee and Other packages:
Entry Fee is 400 rs per head. (There is concession for senior citizens) Here you can opt for Cable Car ride or choose to reach at top by climbing 645 well maintained steps. You can have a helicopter ride to get bir eye view of the statue.
Also there are various packages which includes 15 types of adventures and/or trekking and/or paintball activities.
Walk towards Top:
We chose to take a walk. The path is well constructed and surrounded by woods. There are volunteers available to direct you throughout the path. Also plenty of drinking water is available in between.
Also you can enjoy food at the top. Small playground for children too present there. From the top, enjoy lush green land on all directions along with some mountains.
