Itinerary
Day 1
- Arrive in Leh and meet the representative
- Check-in to the hotel
- Spend the day at leisure and acclimatize to the place
- This way you can explore the Leh town and also become familiar with the high altitude climate
- Overnight at hotel in Leh
Day 2
- After breakfast, we will drive to visit Hemis Monastery situated 45 km west of Leh
- From Hemis, you will be driven back taking the same route to visit Thiksey Monastery, located on a hill-lock with formidable views of the Indus valley
- After that, we will continue to drive through a series of chortens to visit Shey Palace and Shanti Stupa
- Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 3
- After an early breakfast, you would be driven to Nubra Valley
- Enroute visit Khardung-La-pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380ft
- Arrive at Hunder and check-in at hotel/camps
- Later, visit Diskit Village and enjoy the camel ride on sand dunes
- Dinner and overnight stay at Hunder Valley
Day 4
- After breakfast, check out from the Nubra valley and drive to Pangong Lake East to the Leh, enjoy the breathtaking view of Pangong Lake
- Overnight at the Pangong Lake
Day 5
- After breakfast, check out from the Panging and drive to Leh
- The evening is free for leisure and own activities
- Overnight at the Leh hotel
Day 6
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel
- The Gem Holidays thank you for your patronage and ensures a punctual transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward destination
