Moreh Tourism & Travel Guide

A border town, Moreh is situated right on the India- Myanmar border and is fast emerging as an important trade centre. The land here belonged to the historic Kawbong Valley civilization and is still a part of the place known as the Kawbong Valley. The natural beauty is remarkable and the diversity of cultures here is also another major thing to notice. Apart from local populations of Burmese, Chin, Kuki and Mizo, there are also many Punjabis, Tamil, Marwaris, Telegu, Meities, Nagas and Pandels. Moreh is known as India's Gateway to the South- East and also as the Commercial Capital of Manipur.
