There is a fear in the minds over the political atmosphere and one expects hospitality despite knowing that kashmir has zero percent crime rate, against tourist.

I suggest Kashmir, a place that you should definitely visit once in your lifetime. The place, their attire, their beauty, their culture, the weather everything is so refreshing, that you always want to go and visit it again.

Nature was sure biased when it created this land. The more you go deeper in its lap the more unveills itself to you. There is no best season to visit kashmir as each season has its own charm and beauty.

Day 1

So here when i went to kashmir, i already booked travel package for this trip and that was really good. I took flight from delhi to Srinagar. I reached Srinagar at 11am. From airport driver picked me and dropped at hotel. In Srinagar for day 1, i had a booking in hotel and another day in houseboat.

View from my hotel room was amazing, where while lying on bed I could see this mountain view. Then i had my breakfast and had some rest. Then i got ready to visit Srinagar.

Driver took me for local sightseeing of Srinagar which includes Nishant garden, Chashme Shahi Botanical garden and Pari Mahal.

A major part of Srinagar has sprawling lush green gardens with the most beautifully landscaped flower beds and fountain amidst structure. These garden adds the beauty of this city.

On based of my experience i would suggest dont go all three Mughal gardens but must include botanical garden, which is really amazing.

So i started, while going local sightseeing of Srinagar you always get to see screne views of Dal lake on the way.

There are three Mughal gardens of Srinagar; the Shalimar garden is the largest and the Nishat garden is the second largest, and Chashme Shahi is the smallest. All the three gardens were built at the right bank of the Dal Lake, with Zabarwan mountains at the backdrop.

First i saw Nishant garden, popularly knowns as 'Garden of bliss'. Nishat Bagh is famous for its 12 terraces decorated with beautiful flowers like roses and lilies with each terrace representing a zodiac sign.

It has a beautiful water channel flowing through the middle, which further adds to the romantic charm of the garden.

Chashme Shahi garden-Chashme Shahi Garden, meaning 'The Royal Spring. The highlight of Chashme Shahi Garden is its natural spring of freshwater, which has mineral content. There are three terraced formations in the garden, which are carpeted with lush greenery and dotted with colourful flowers. It is lined with numerous trees of Chinar and different fruits, which add to its picturesque charm.

It is my favourite one, Botanical garden,

which is really beautiful. I would recommend you do not miss this garden that often does not fall on the typical tourist itinerary.

Jawarlala nehru botanical garden set up in 1969 in fond memory of india's first prime minister.

Unlike other famous gardens of Srinagar, the botanical garden may not have a history ,but on my trip to Srinagar I have found it to be the most beautiful garden in Srinagar.

The lake the trees and collection of flowers is a sight to be seen.

Landscaping and scale apart, the serenity of the huge fir trees and weeping willows, the lovely roses, poppies of all imaginable colours blooming everywhere and the serene lake against a clear sky makes it a memorable place.

I feel that this is a place to stay for a while and not to just visit.

if there is a paradise on earth it is this it is this it is this. when you are in the garden have a look around you and can see all the marvels of nature in one go. The trees all of these pleases your eyes and give you the feeling that you are in heaven.

It was Sunny bright evening, so calm,

Inviting me with an outstretched arm,

I Sit there and spend time doing Nothing,

And admire what nature could bring.

Getting up , i thought i take a stride,

when there a puppy came by my side,

wanna fly and spread my wings,

Music in Silence no one could ever sing,

As i came to conclusion, i was on my knee,

Not the richest of the queens was dressed like one of these.

My evening in the garden very well spent

Now i know beauty and music meant.

Pari Mahal- All in all, Pari Mahal, the Abode of Fairies, deserves a visit when you plan a visit to Srinagar. The variety of flowers, serene environment, elegant monument and pleasant weather. i could see the whole sringar with beautiful dal lake from the top of pari mahal. just look at the picture what they are trying to say.

Then I went back to hotel and beautiful day ended like this.

Day 2

Then as another day started I got ready had my breakfast. Now started exploring for this new day. I went to local markets of Srinagar ate sweet apple and bought saffron and dry fruits from srinagar local market. For this day i had a stay in houseboat.

So I went to Dal lake.

Second largest floating market of world after of venice where you get everything kashmiri shawls, handlooms, sweaters, gloves, dry fruits etc. InLife floats on water in dal lake.

Take a Shikara ride in dal lake, listening to the water splashing against the oar, looking at the mountains. The shikara moves along the lined up houseboats and takes you through a floating garden of lotus flower. the royal boat then takes you to the market built on lake water.

I got my pics clicked in shikhara in traditional kashmiri style.

There i Spent a night. its worth an experience. I was amazed to see the interiors of houseboat. Its full wood carved, everything was so ethnic and antique. It has couple of rooms attached with washrooms and a beautiful balcony.

Then after having some rest and dinner. I spent time in the beautiful balcony gazing at the stars and felt cold breeze striked me from each side. I could feel the magic in the air. It is one of those elusive places where you can hear the silence and are rocked and lulled into deep and stress free sleep with the gentle and comforting sound of chappa chappa of a shikara passing by.

You get a new zest for life as the morning breeze blows over the mountains and dal lake, A new morning a cup of tea and dal lake.
