Built in 1942 by Maharaja Krishnakumar Singhji of Bhavnagar, Gopnath Bungalow overlooks a gorgeous private rocky beach. Visitors can hear the roaring of the sea at the Bungalow and spot a cornucopia of birds, making it a perfect place to connect with nature and escape the chaos of the city.

The Bungalow boasts of ten ensuite clean and spacious rooms and an elegant dining hall with an array of books and board games for families to bond over. Food at Gopnath Bungalow is locally sourced and allows travellers to dive into the regional flavours with vegetarian and non vegetarian options including fresh seafood!

Getting there - Gopnath Bungalow is 70kms from Bhavnagar, 240kms from Ahmedabad and 200kms from Rajkot. Pick up and drop off to and from these cities can be arranged upon request!

Things to do - Gopnath is a cultural haven with the 700 year old Gopnath Mahadev Temple located in close proximity to the Bungalow. The Temple is known to be the place where the poet Shri Narsinh Mehta had his spiritual experience 500 years ago.

Travellers on their way to Gopnath can stop by at the famous rock cut caves of Talaja. These thirty caves date back to the 2nd century.
