We reached Leh on 7th September early morning and spent two days acclimatizing before starting our trek on 9th September.
Day 1: Leh to Rumbak via Zinchen (9th September 2019)
We took a car to reach from Leh to Zinchen (11,161 ft)
(Time taken to reach: Approx 45 mins)
After reaching Zinchen we started our trek towards Rumbak (12,979 ft)
(Time taken to reach: Approx 4-4.30 hrs)
Day 2: Rumbak to Mankorma via Stok La Pass (10th September, 2019)
We started out trek towards Stok La Pass (15,928 ft) at around 9.00 am, the path gets steeper as you get closer to the pass.
(Time taken to reach: Approx 3-4 hrs)
Trek from Stok La Pass to Mankorma (14,199 ft) is a long descent and it goes through a narrow valley.
(Time taken to reach: Approx 2-3 hrs)
Day 3: Mankorma to Stok Base Camp (11th September, 2019)
The trek from Mankarmo to Base camp (16,302 ft) is less than 4km and also very easy.
As you go through the valley, you get a clear view of Stok Kangri.

Day 4 & 5: Stoke Base Camp to Summit and back (Failed Summit Attempt) (12th & 13th September, 2019)
We acclimatized and rested throughout on day 4 and started with our summit (20,187 ft) attempt at around 10.30 pm.
Unfortunately, Due to high altitude sickness & extreme temperature, we could not summit and had to turn back from around 18,500 ft.
Coming so close to the summit and not able to complete it, definitely feels disappointing but at the same time, we were very happy and content with our efforts.
We were back to Stok base camp on day 5 at around 8 am with some amazing experiences and memories.
(This was by far the toughest day of the trek both mentally and physically)
Day 6: Stok Base Camp to Stok Village via Chang Ma (14th September, 2019)
The final day of the trek. With awesome memories, we walked down the valley towards Stok village (11,824 ft) via Changa Ma (13,087 ft)

We took a car from Stok village to drive back to Leh.
