Europe has long been considered as a dream destination for many travel enthusiasts. Its medieval cities, verdant meadows and diverse culture has always acted as a magnet for travelers. But it is also known to be prohibitively expensive especially for people from countries whose currency exchange rate is abysmal as compared to the Euro.So when I was selected as an exchange student to study a term of 3 months at Toulouse Business School, France the first thing I wanted to do was to devise a plan to experience Europe on a budget as I was a student and was not earning since a year. I checked my curriculum and found out that I had 15 days to travel during the hectic term. The idea that I had in my mind was to experience Europe rather than just marking places off my bucket-list. I spoke to a lot of people, did a lot of research and came to a conclusion that one needed to spend at-least 2 days in a particular city to get the real feel of it. I had heard from my friends that the EuRail is the cheapest option to travel in Europe, but I found out that the statement is true only if you have more than a month to travel, For a shorter time and for a solo traveler (EuRail gives couple discounts) the most inexpensive option to travel is by bus, and EuroLines buses were the best and most convenient for me.Planning:

Germany's second largest city has a sophisticated demeanour, behind which lurks mischief and abandon. Hamburg is considerably smaller than Berlin, more tight-night and connected, and yet thoroughly eclectic when it comes to art and music. Getting around in HamburgThe U-Bahn is the best way to explore most of Hamburg's sights. A lot of walking will inevitably be involved. A single day pass for unlimited use of all public transport costs €6.20 a day for adults, €2.30 for children aged 6 to 14. Bike rentals are available, but not as accessible or widely advertised as in Berlin

All buses drop you off at the Dresden hauptbahnhof (main station). A short tram ride took us to the old town center.

Went to Rhine valley , along with new mates whoever I met on bus , was started by walking from my hotel , exploring everything with feeling the air breeze and after some 5km reached the bus from there travelled in bus upto 20km nearly outside the Frankfurt like it is valley . From there I went down to small town where totally people were nearly 1200 . It was a beautiful place .. and cruise to explore along the valley for upto 40kms , tasted all kinds of wines . First time I had experienced the wine and every weekend means red wine , white wine , Pinot Gris , Pinor blac , Chardonnay , Arbane .. while I was on the cruise it went up to some miles so during there were so many old castles which were built 1000 / 2000 years a ago . Very rare to see these kinds of castles everywhere. The total day I spent over this place was totally satisfied. Starred from my hotel by walking around the streets , ate Tortila while , then BUS travel , small cable car travel about to 15 mins , cruise travel , bus travel , again started walking by end of the day , was waited for the bus to catch up . Did . Went to hotel had some rest time . Was fun . Was it ?

Leipzig had the largest Hauptbahnhof in Europe until Berlin usurped it. This seems to be the trade fair capital of Germany and an important city for such throughout Europe dating back centuries. What we did not know was that Leipzig was having a Goth festival. As we were walking and admiring the beautiful architecture, there were many other sights to see walking along side of us. For music lovers, which I do not count amongst the many, Leipzig is where Johann Sebastian Bach lived for a good part of his life and was the Kantor in the Thomaskirche. He is buried in the choir with the Bach archives across the street. Felix Mendelssohn headed the Gewandhaus Orchestra and founded the first conservatory in Germany. Richard Wagner was born here, receiving his musical training here. This city also boasts Germany’s first stock exchange.
