Sattal Gethia Naukuchiatal Shitlakhet Chaukori Shyamlatal Tanakpur are some offbeat spots you could explore in Nainital.

Yes, especially Naukuchitual and Bhimtal (within 25 km from Nainital) are certainly better options.

Hi Kavi, Nainital offers beautiful views of the mountains and the famous Naini Lake but lately its been crowded with people flocking from all over the nation. But just a few miles away from Nainital lies a tiny hamlet called Pangot which is absolutely secluded with virgin forests and chirps of over 300 species of birds. I recommend you explore Pangot, if possible, you won't be disappointed.
