Hi Rashmi , from Bangalore to Ooty you can either go by bus which will take 7-8 hours and 1500 per person for sleeper bus, fare might be high due to peak season timing. once you reach there you can opt for auto which will not cost more than 200 to find your hotel if you have book any. else you can ask them to take you to some good hotel near by. it's a small hill station so you can easily get things around. Travel package will be there for sight seeing.

It's good. if u dnt wanna drive ur own vehicle get it hired. Drivers in Bangalore r good n friendly and they could guide u abt ooty. when or before reaching ooty rent a cottage rather thn hotel.

Day 0 : Overnight AC sleeper bus from Bangalore to Ooty. Day 1: Reach Ooty by 8 am. Hire a cab for day tour in Ooty. Day 2: Leave for Coonoor by early morning toy train. Hire a cab for day tour in Coonoor. Come back to Ooty by evening toy train. Board overnight bus for Bangalore. Reach Bangalore early morning, the next day. Tip : Coonoor is much beautiful and serene than Ooty. Try giving a full day to relax in Coonoor, if possible. Happy Travelling :)
