Rajasthan is a place of historical, and natural wonders. It is also home to a treasure trove of historical sites and forts worth visiting. The best place to visit in Rajasthan is Chittorgarh Fort. The fort was built in 1568 by Raja Man Singh and added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. It has been designated one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.

The entire state is worth it. But if you are visiting for the first time, then perhaps you can start with Jaipur, Ajmer and Pushkar. This is possible in 3-4 days. If you have little more time in hand, then extend to Jodhpur-Jaisalmer or Udaipur-Chittorgarh. But summer is a very bad time to visit Rajasthan..
