Along with the places mentioned by others, you would also love to visit Fathesagar lake, Pichola, Gangor ghat, Ambrai ghat, Baghor ki haveli, all these places are close to City palace and are at walking distance.

Ropeway and karni mata temple, lake Pichola, city palace, jagadish temple, Bharatiya lok Kala Mandal for puppet shows, Fateh sagar lake, Rana Pratap smarak, Rana Pratap Gaurav Kendra, Sajjangarh fort. however, one can also visit the kumbhalgarh fort, which is nearly two hours ride from the city and it requires a whole day. you can include it in your itinerary if you have sufficient number of days. you can also include the eklingji temple and haati pole if you are a shopaholic

Go to Karni Mata temple by ropeway. visit pichola lake, city palace. go to the jagdish temple which has intricate architecture.... after that u can have a boat ride in the fateh Sagar lake.... it's really vast with beautiful landscape.... go to lok Kala bhawan to watch puppet shows....sajjangarh palace, Rana Pratap Smarak, shilpgram, saheliyon Ki bari are also noteworthy
