Hotels in shimla are expensive specially if it's close to the mall road. standard room costs not less than 1500. if you want a room for less than that... consider staying in a guest house. there are very few though

U can go for oyo rooms in shimla. They are cheap and very comfortable and u can get some or Cashback or discounted on the oyo app.

Go for OYO rooms near mall road so everything is close by to visit and the view is also amazing or find OYO near Old bus stand and use Paytm to get good offers

You can book a Retiring room at the railway station for 600rs, you will have to book it from their website and can only book if you go Shimla by train. They are quite spacious too and are decent if you want a budget trip.
UpvoteCommentI would say that in Shimla you can find lots of hotels to stay but you may not feel the luxury. When I went to Shimla I found an amazing place to stay i.e. Toshali Royal View and I am sure you will love this place.
