First of all Spiti is the better place amongst both but depending on from where you are starting your journey, the budget for both differs alot. Spiti valley costs more than Triund.

Hello Ujjawal. See both destinations are different from each other. Triund Trek is a weekend getaway. its a short one day trek starting from Mcleodganj. 5kms from Dharamshala. Triund is no doubt a beautiful trek which offers you great himalayan views. And triund is a all season trek you can go anytime to experience the beatific himalayan views. Also, it is quiet budget friendly. It won't cost you more than 2500 INR. if you are travelling from Delhi. Lets talk about Spiti Valley, which personally my favourite location. When we talk about spiti, legends says July is the best time to visit that place. Exploring spiti takes alteast 10 days excluding buffer. There are many ways to reach spiti. 1. Via Public transport (Economic trip)
2. Via Bike(13-15K INR , most amazing)
3. Via Taxi (Costly and OK OK)

What i did, Walk the entire length( Cheapest) I would suggest either take a bike or hitchhike/ walk the magnificent spiti valley for thorough experience of God's finest architecture of cold deserts. In July, Spiti and Triund both are doable, but wisdom says one should go to Spiti if one has time and money in hand. Else Triund is also not a bad option.

Both places have their own beauty & importance. You have to be careful as it's heavy rain fall there. So if u want to go Triund it's suggested that go with experience trekker.
