You should certainly visit Munnar for the Neelakurinji festival..It's happening this year after13 years ...And will again happen after 12years..So yes definitely to witness. Also OOTY can be other option. Summers in South India is too much hot and humid to bear., so hill stations are preferably good. Hope this helps... Happy Traveling!!

Well in South india if u want to enjoy scenic beauty then ooty is a great place to visit, apart from ooty allepi in kerala is a wonderful place it encloses beautiful backwater along with houseboats and canal ride.
