Any day Ooty for me. But I would suggest if you are going to Ooty, please cover Coonoor and Kotagiri. They are very beautiful. Ooty has become very crowded as every body wants to go there.

I've been to Hampi n number of times and Coorg which is greenery. depends on your preference. you can decide what to do when you visit hampi, if you interested in checking ruins then you have it in hampi, or else the other side of Hampi is for people who just want to stay there for a day or two and chill for the entire trip. Ooty is hill station so you would find greenery all around. Ruins and Chilling - Hampi greenery and chilling - Ooty

If you like to visit historical place, then u should visit hampi and there is a place full of foreigner near River, I don't remember the name. It's a good place and for hampi u have to walk around 10-12 km around the forts. Its a one day visit. Ooty would be costlier as compared to Hampi. It depends whether u like cold place, full of tree, forest or moderate climate,.. It depends on your preference at last. I have been there last month to Hampi, it cost me around 2000 only.

Depends on your travel mood. Ooty if you want to enjoy the misty weather, experience toy train journey, eat a lot of chocolates, carrots and strawberries, visit and learn about tea making, oil making and other trades in the city. HAMPI if you want to lose yourself in a city full of ruins.Every ruin in the city has a story to tell. The extravaganza baazars, baths and temples of the Vijayanagara empire, the Thungabhadra river, the hills and so many other things. It also offers you a very contrary landscape in the hippie island with cafes, music, parties and so many other surprises. There is some magic in Hampi that stays with you forever.

OOTY is ber nice hill station .

This depends on primarily on two factors such as time of visit and what you aspire to experience .The suitable time to visit Hampi is definitely during the autumn and winter ,so from Oct to February and Ooty during the summer months as it is a popular hill station. If you are more into Hindu mythology and archaeology, then go for Hampi as the temple ruins are incredibly stunning ,hence it is also an UNESCO world heritage site.Having said that,Ooty has so much to offer in terms of scenic beauty ; tall mountains filled with lush green tea and coffee plants. So check the weather in both the locations and the prices for accommodation and plan your trip.
