If you want to see mountains, then you can go to Shimla, Manali, Kasol, Kashmir etc. If you're beach lover then you can go for pondicherry, goa, gokarna, Kerela etc. in South India. If you love treks, you can go for trekking to Kasol-Kheerganga, Triund, Kedarkanta, Valley of flowers etc. If want to see heritage and culture, you can go to Rajasthan or Hampi.

Depends on what you like to do. Like others suggested you can go to Himachal and other places, but Gujarat offers a mix of everything and is one of the safest places to go alone. Even southern states are very good and safe for that matter. If you want an itinerary for Gujarat or any of the southern states or even Andaman, do let me know. Will suggest some based on my own trips.
