Hi, Can anyone suggest me good road trip from Delhi which can be covered in one day? Also, I am specifically aiming someplace in the mountains.

You can go to Mussorie, Haridwar , and Rishikesh. But these places seeks time to explore. so 2 days minimum would be a perfect trip to these places.

The closest Hill Station from Delhi would most probably be Lansdowne but it wont make sense to come back same day... You may do rishikesh by going there early in the morning, spending some time out there having a meal and come back by late evening but all this would turn out to be very hectic Best would be to visit the Aravallis and go to either Manesar or some other nice resort on the Jaipur highway like Neemrana and do ziplining, lunch and return

Kuchesar is famous for the mud fort built by the Jat rulers here. This 18th century mud fort is surrounded by 200 acres of greenery, and is built to protect the jats from British attacks. Moreover, 25 kms from Kuchesar is a place called Brijghat, its a beautiful picnic spot by the river Ganges set in midst of mango orchards. All this makes Kuchesar the best one day trip from Delhi. Roughly 2 and half hour drive from Delhi, Kuchesar Fort can be easily reached by a cab or by own vehicle via NH24. Ghaziabad comes in the way between Delhi and Kuchesar Mud Fort. 2.vrindavan Located at 142 kms from Delhi, it is a holy destination related to the Lord Krishna. You can visit this destination via 2 hr long drive or even by trains. 3.Neemrana palace - Situated 122 kms from Delhi on Delhi-Jaipur highway, Neemrana fort is one of the best resort near Delhi agra, damdama lake, rishikesh etc

Hi, i suggest you go for Aravali hills, very good weather these days + there are many good resorts there, with many fun activities.

Hi Nikita, do you want to go to some place in the mountains and return within 24 hours? It will be a bit hectic since it takes at least six hours to get to a decent place in the mountains. I rather recommend you take a weekend out to go on a road trip to Lansdowne, Mussoorie, Kasauli, Chail, Shimla or Mcleodganj.

For mountains it will be not possible to come back in1 day.You won't enjoy.Places to visit in one day Manesar, Neemrana fort,Agra,Alwar,Nuh.... McLeodganj and Kullu is closest for mountain.
