Hi Anuj, Since you'll be traveling with friends, I guess no matter where you go, you'll be having a good time! Since you have a week or so, I would suggest that you travel to Pondicherry, spend New Year's eve there and later hop to some other place, like Kanyakumari maybe. Otherwise, you always have the option to go to the hills, in Himachal or Uttrakhand, where you'll probably get to spend a snow-laden vacation! And of course, there's Goa - a party paradise! But let me tell you that everything is gonna be super expensive that time!
