If i were in your shoes, i'd definitely go to udaipur. mountains are going to be waaay too crowded!

However, I have been hearing that the rain has been causing a lot of trouble to people there. hopefully the situation will be fine by then, but there's no harm in keeping a check on the weather conditions around that weekend.

Both the Locations are good. It mainly depend on from where u starting ur trip. Nainital and Ranikhet is more close to nature. U can also add either Jim Corbett National Park or other near by places of Nainital. Where as, if u r going Udaipur and Mount Abu, u can also cover Chittorgarh.
