7 to 10 days, are much needed to cover whole of Konkan side. You could plan the exploring from mumbai start with Dapoli, then move towards Rathnagiri, then two days later travel towards Malvan and complete the travel at Devbag. In each place there is lots to see, so you need two days much to spend in each above mentioned place. So the best would be to go via packages which are available on MMT and Yatra.
