How safe is it to stay in a hostel in terms of sanitation and hygiene? Can anyone recommend some clean hostels near Mumbai? I don't have the budget to stay in a fancy hotel

Look for good hostels such as zostel, hosteller, gostops etc.
they mostly clean room on daily basis.
