If your plan is to visit Rajasthan for 5 days, here is your itinerary to be followed:- Day 1 and 2 :- The pink city Jaipur ... You can visit amber fort and roam around the busy streets tasting the local food. Also visit Nahargarh fort, museum and johari bazaar ... Day 3 :- Jaisalmer... The fort of jaisalmer and havelis and also the lake can be seen in a day in this part of Rajasthan.... Day 4 and 5 :- Explore the great Indian desert on a four wheel Safari and also you can visit Ajmer fort and dargah ... Happy Travelling!!!
There are various places to go as You already have searched on internet.Best place in Rajasthan(OnceInLifeTime)is Jaiselmar.Spend one day at the Sam sand dunes;and two days at jaiselmar city(LocalSighSeeing-Famous is Sonarkila-onlyFortInWorldWhereStillPeopleLive).Check some of the pics of Sam sand dunes on my tripoto profile,i visited there last month.I have covered almost all tha Rajasthan;But I loved Jiaselmar the most.
Rajasthan has five main tourist circuits-
1.Udaipur-Chittorgarh,Mount abu and Kumbalgarh can be done along with Udaipur.
2.Jodhpur-It is not a big one.Mehrangarh fort,old city,kylana lake,Ranisar,Padmasar,ghanta garh,step well ,Rock Garden can be covered 3.Jaipur-Nargarh,Jaigarh,Hawa Mahal,Amer,Albert hall medium,Chandpole bazar can be covered
4.Ajmer and Pushkar-Visit the dargah,pushkar lake and local market of pushkar
5.Jaisalmer-The places in city such as golden fort, Gadisar,Sunset point can be covered in 4-5 hours.And the rest of places like bara bagh, Kumbalgarh,Sum,Tanot Mata,Loangewala require time.
