You may take local bus from gokarna bus murudeshwar or Honavar from there you will get direct bus to jog falls. I prefer you to take bus from Honavar. If through train gokarna to murudeshwar from there to bus mentioned above

Can I cover jog falls in one day as I have plan to return Gokarna the same day?

Reach at Shimoga from gokarna. From Shimoga there are bus services for jog fall or you can book cab and visit.

It's nearby, you can hire a scooter from Gokarna or just take a cab, buses are available too

Hi Saurabh, Best way to plan Jog Falls and Gokarna is to take a night train from Bengaluru and reach Shimoga is morning. Hire a cab from Shimoga to Gokarna and back, visit Jog falls on the way. It would take around 1.5 hours to reach Jog Falls from Shimoga and from there 2 hours for Gokarna. Travelers on Tripoto have been talking about this.
