You can cover entire Gangtok in one day. there are taxis which you can hire for a day and they will take you to 7-8 tourist places on the same day. For the other three days, you can go to indo-china border. It has the best route i have seen so far in my life. Worth going. If you have 2 full fledged days, hire a cab and travel towards north sikkim. On the mall road there are alot of agencies who can guide you. And taxis are pretty much affordable.
