Infact am not convinced if someone says this without travelling
When i was about 16 my father did not allow for traveling alone but my mother was in my favour and i went Udaipur that was first solo trip so just talk to ur mother may be it helps you....

The better option would be informing your parents after you reach your desired location.Just let them know you are doing good and happy and try convincing them with peace.It may take time but its sure gonna help you.

As an indian your parents need the security *money*. A good future plan to follow your dream. Give them the assurety that you can survive and go ahead with your plan, make them trust your plan.
