Hello deepak,it's not the season to visit hillstations. You should visit hilly areas in halfseason that is nearly september to December. This season is worthy to explore the scenic beauty of hillstations
Munnar hil station is wide and deep. There are many places to cover. Kolukkumalai morning safari, chakromudi trek, top station, mathupatty dam, rajmala sanctuary etc are some good places to visit. There are many good waterfalls around too. I stayed at bamboo Dale in bison valley.
If you looking for colder weather its not a best time it will be like humid in day and normal in evening and night. but its a safest time that there won't be any sort of problems on road Best places in Munnar are
mattupetty dam top station vattavada
iravikulam national park if possible trek to anamudi
meshapuli mala teak
kollukumala teak marayur sandle wood forest 20+ km from town
chinnar wildlife sanctuary 30+ km from town from adimali if you deviate to idukki you can have much more hill station to cover
March marks the beginning of summer in Munnar. The weather remains pleasant and temperatures range between 19 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius. Summer in Munnar is a perfect time to enjoy sightseeing and visiting tea estates and the Tata Tea Museum. Carry light cottons, though also carry an umbrella as rain showers are common during the summer months.
