We just came back from Pondicherry. You can start your roadtrip from Bangalore to Mahabalipuram first and then come to Pondicherry or viz versa. Pre book your hotels to save some costs and you can even go there and do direct bookings in the hotels supported by Oyo rooms.

Hey Rajendra, You should visit White town, which is known for its french architecture. Also, make a stop at Auroville for the day, very interesting !
