On my recent visit to Puducherry, I was fascinated by many new parts of the city to explore and capture. It was around 2.5 hours journey from Chennai to Puducherry which would cost you around INR100 if you travel by Delux and INR75 if by normal bus.

I reached around 11:30 in the morning along with my brother. He was familiar with the place and it was a whole new experience for a travel freak like me.

While entering the city, one can guess easily that this city is unique in its own way.  Beautifully decorated walls, amazing texture of houses, wandering foreigners and so hot weather.

This city is very small but yet very large in presenting different art and design works.

It has many destinations to visit like Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, The French Colony, Rock Beach, Church and many more. It was a short trip but still I managed to visit some most famous places.

If you love travelling and want to explore a place which is clean, less polluted, healthy environment then what are you waiting for? Another post on the same city? Book your tickets and break your time because Puducherry is a place to feel, not to see.

To start a trip, I decided to have some light food as the weather was not so cool on that day. I had chicken rice bowl with a Pepsi. To reach KFC from bus stand would cost you around INR50.
A peaceful, attracting colours, beautiful houses and many subjects to capture. This place is built for all such things to enjoy and explore. It's walking distance from KFC but I will suggest you to wear sunglasses and a cap for better heat control of your body.

I reached around 2:30 pm on the beach and still it was amazing for my eyes to capture the whole of it. The wind was in its own mood to impress me and the sand was indulged in transferring heat from it to my foot.

I've heard many times by my school teacher about Sri Aurobindo and she suggested me once to visit the Ashram in Pondicherry. The peaceful environment, silent but yet so expressive love of people around Samadhi was heart pleasing.

On visiting this store in The French Colony, I came across this innovative design which can replace plastic bags in our day to day life. I bought one for my mother for all the groceries, shopping etc. These bags comes in 2 design, one with the backpack design(INR150) and another one which you can hold easily(INR190). The bag material is pretty decent and can hold many items.
