Goa would be a great option for now as the offseason has begun. You could explore the beaches, waterfalls , paddy fields and so much more these days as the other side of Goa is often forgotten. The travel expenses depends on where you are travelling from. The train is the cheapest option whereas the night bus is the comfiest option. For the stay, you can look for hostels. Checkout in Instagram @bucketlisthostel or whatsapp +917066659066 for enquiries. It could be anywhere between 250-450 INR per person per night. Then comes the food which you can cook in the hostel kitchen or also buy from outside for your budget. Finally for travelling around, hire a motorbike for 300 INR and roam around Goa.

Depends on what kinda experience you're wishing for. Goa is super chill fun and it has a party vibe. North Goa is for the party animals. While south Goa is for the beautiful beaches and serenity. Pondicherry on the other hand is quite laidback. It has beautiful colourful colonies and auroville which will give you a completely different experience altogether. Do visit Matri temple if you're going to auroville. I have visited both these places but if you're going solo I personally think you should go for Pondicherry and Auroville.

If you want peace, tranquility, better vibe, less people and clean beaches I would suggest pondi can't get any better it's a paradise for solo travellers . If you want party , more beaches, more people , beach side clubs and rave parties, beautiful churches, resorts, culture , Goan food is to die for, GOA is the place to be. Now the decision is yours.

Pondicherry is definitely lighter on the pocket. However, both Pondicherry and Goa are great places for solo travelers. While Pondicherry has a French cultural influence, Goa has a Portuguese one. I have traveled to Pondicherry, but having lived in Goa for a few years, I will vouch for the safety of solo travelers in Goa. and yeah, if you are looking for some serene beaches or short road trips across quaint villages and hills, Goa is the place!

I believe South Goa should be in your bucket list if travelling alone. In Puducherry, you would not be able to explore places as such and in North Goa its best if you have a group along

Hi Himanshu, Pondicherry is way better than Goa. Goa is costly and for solo travelling, i would not suggest you to visit Goa. Pondicherry is really peaceful place and you can enjoy your solitude there. In Goa, you will feel really weird if you will visit alone. And if we talk about the cost to visit Pondicherry. The average cost for per day is 1250 Rs. Rs. 8764 would be the average cost for one week. Happy Travelling :)

Always Goa not because of night life There are so many things to see other than beach parties It would be a peaceful and beautiful vacation if you visit during off season. Not many people visit during off season but all the places you visit gives you a private space and calmness. Especially during rainy season the climate there is beautiful more or less gives you a feeling that you are in Kerala Make sure you cover the places with good plan and have varieties of food available there. Have a nice trip

If you strictly need to make a budget trip and also you have less time to stay here is the estimate: You have to stay for not more than 3 days n two nights they to visit most of the places i.e worthy places. And the cost for travelling to and fro based on your residence. Basically the cost for accommodation there is 500 to 1000 per day for 3 to 4 persons i.e if you take a single room, I don't know how many people they allow in a single room but for a room per day it is below 1000 in an average resort with pool. Good is not much expensive. It is 500 per head of you go to an expensive restaurant and 500 for two of our is an average restaurant. You can take motorbikes on rent at Vasco Da Gama at 600 for a day starting at 6am and ending at 9pm. Go to Sabeena bakery near Vasco railway station for getting them. Thomas named man rents bikes, he is a nice person and only person to get you bike at the said charity price. also he doesn't ask for security deposit Prices for beach sports, you have to search out for different combinations
