Birmingham-USA Ruffner Mountain Center https://travellifo.com/15-top-attractive-places-in-birmingham/ Ruffner Mountain Nature Center is a great site if you enjoy hiking, bird watching, or being outside. This wildlife refuge is also home to several raptors, turtles, frogs, snakes, mammals, and salamanders. From the 1880s through the 1950s, there were several iron ore mining in this region. There are still some of their remnants visible. Along with mining areas, you may also observe quarries and mining machinery. Another former mine site turned park is Red Mountain Park. There are a few old iron ore mining sites there. It also includes a network of paths totaling 15 kilometres. Among the most picturesque locations in Birmingham, this location is still another great one, especially for trekking. Additionally, this park offers opportunities for mountain riding. Mountain biking is permitted on all of the park's paths.
