The best time to visit Leh Ladakh by road is between May to September. Even though the Srinagar Leh highway opens by the middle of May, the Manali Leh highway opens in June only.

You can travel to Ladakh anytime of air by road (from Srinagar or Manali) and via flights. The best time to visit this cold desert is from May-October.
