Yes, December is a good time to do NorthEast India, the weather is perfect its not hot and humid, there is no rain so all the places are accessible. Also not all the places in North East receive snowfall so there is no issue of roads getting blocked as well. Yes, december is a good month, but considering the cold weather, you need to take care for various things, you can consider going to south, its really beautiful

Yeah, it's a really good time to go. The weather will be a little bit chilly but the beautiful sight of snow covered mountains will be worth it. If you want to enjoy snowfall, head to North Sikkim. In short, you will enjoy a lot. Happy travelling !!!
