Spring and autumn, from April to May and from September to mid November respectively, are the ideal times to visit Istanbul and the inland regions when temperatures are pleasant and the skies are clear. my personal suggest don't visit from December to march.

Not the ideal time because the climate can disturb the daily activities. The hot air balloon ride is Cappadocia is often called off because of wind speed.
