There are many places u can visit in manali but the place u must go is " jogini falls " they are very beautiful. You can also visit places like hidimba temple , valmiki temple , Buddha monastery & mall road. Around manali u can go to Solang valley where u can adventure the paragliding if u really want to enjoy scenic view then go to rohtang pass. Hope you enjoy and a very happy journey.

It's a season time for Manali, if you are a Budget traveler, you can visit Vashishth which is near to Manali itself by taking public transport and visit Hotspring and Jogni Waterfalls.
One day you can plan for Rohtang La pass by sharing taxi if you are solo or connect a Cab.
Only if you are getting enough time after Rohtang, you can also try covering Atul tunnel
Sajla waterfall is an off-beat place near Vaishnav Temple, you can try this and have local himachali food
