The most popular tourist destination in Kerala during summer, Munnar has an unparalleled beauty. You would see all shades of green cover this enchanting place with its rolling hills, tea plantation, waterfalls, nature trails and lakes. The hill station is situated on the bank of three rivers Madupetti, Nallathanni and Periavaru, and has amazing panoramic viewpoints. There are plenty of places to sightsee in Munnar which is also famous for its one of a kind neelakurinji shrub. The most popular tourist destinations of Munnar are Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Anamudi, Devikulam, Nyayamakad, Muniyara Dolmens, Attukal Waterfalls, Photo Point, Echo Point and Pothemadu.
In my opinion Munnar is a better place in terms of sightseeing and scenery. The sightseeing in Munnar is not in the town. The best places are all around 30 kms from the town.
Munnar . You can try the Black eagles camp there Have a stroll and know about about the various types of tea and have a chai experience Try the Zipline if you are the adventure seeker. Experience the love from the people and a jeep ride up the mountain. Experience wild life. I have been to both places and i loved munnar as it was much of adventure in store.
