Also. would appreciate any leads on the current budget bike trips scheduled around mid April to Meghalaya. If I travel solo, how can I connect with other solo travellers there and join them ?
I am from jaipur and according to me there is only one mode of transport which is the cheapest in jaipur and which is rsrtc's low-floor buses, this buses are quite well managed and easily available as well.
Hi Richa! We did an evening/night Danube river cruise in Budapest during our visit to the city in the fall of 2017. I would personally recommend a night cruise which lasts about 1.5-2 hours (without dinner) to explore the major attractions like Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, Hungarian Parliament, Chain Bridge etc in splendid lighting. The river cruises are guided and you will find a number of service providers, all offering similar prices and services, so you can choose as per itinerary and complimentary features. The cruises are available both on the Buda and Pest docks of the Danube, but the Pest side might offer more variety and options. We did it through the official Hop on Hop Off Budapest Tours as they are great value for money. You can also combine a hop on hop off bus tour of the city by road with the river cruise and get additional discounts on your river cruise tickets this way. While a normal cruise might cost you somewhere around 15-20 Euros per head, a cruise with drinks and/or dinner might stretch up to 35- 50 Euros depending upon what's on offer. You can check out various options and prices here: https://budapestrivercruise.com. Budapest at night through the river Danube is something that will stay with you a very long time.
I would say mountains so you have plethora of options like Dalhousie, Rishikesh, Mussoorie, Auli, Shimla, Mcleodganj, Jibhi and many treks like Roop Kund, Bhrigu lake.
It does help if u hv more stamps on ur passport but it is not mandatory....if they are satisfied with your documents and purpose of travel they will grant the visa. My sister had applied for Schengen visa without having any stamps on her Passport... she was granted the visa.
No not at all even if you don't have still stamp it doesn't matter. All you need to have is itinerary to produce in front of visa officer which includes your accommodation and tickets followed by funds that's it and you're good to go.
Hey bhavana!!
The best possible way to reach devprayag from Delhi is via rishikesh , you can reach rishikesh from Delhi by bus or train , distance between rishikesh and Delhi is approx 250 km . Then you can take a taxi or local buses to reach devprayag ,it's approx 74 km from rishikesh. so total distance you have to cover is about 324 km.
Or you can reach haridwar from Delhi by bus or train(207 km) , then take a taxi or local bus to devprayag (93km). total distance you need to cover is about 300 km. You can choose any of one the route
