Hi, yes you can totally backpack in Italy infact Europe is the most backpacker friendly place. I have attached with thie comment two itineraries about how you can travel across Italy in a budget. You can go through it and plan your trip.

Hi Sneha, lansdowne is less crowded place with nature beauty. You can choose this. Apart from this there are a lot of option but they may be crowded.

Mainly depends on from where you want to travel. mostly around your area for 3-4 Days will be in budget. long distances make travel long and Budget will go higher.

Hey Sadiya, There are a lot of restaurants and cafes of various cuisines on MG Marg. I personally would recommend a meal at Apna Dhaba restaurant which is below the SBI MG marg branch. We went there twice in our 2 day stay. We had Butter chicken and biryani there. Other places you can try: 1. The Dragon Wok 2. MGM 3. The square Hope this would help you.

Hey Joe, Serene and beautiful place with minimal expenses should be Varkala for you in December .... This beach side destination with a cliff opposite to the beach is a best way to finish this year ... UpvoteCommentHey Joe, You can go to Karnataka. You can follow this route: Banglore(2 days)-> Kalasa (Kudremukh trek)-> Manglore(1 day)-> Mysore(2 days) You can also go to other places in Karnataka: 1.Coorg 2. Chikmanglur 3. Mullyangiri Hope this helps.

*A wonder to behold, with an air which not only mystifies your sense but makes you live in the impulses of life, Kasol is a village mothered by the Parvati valley. This Himachal's popular destination is best known for its thrilling treks, flavorsome food, roaring river and heartfelt humanity and to make this tour more memorable the journey to reach this place too must be great .
*The nearest railway station is Joginder Nagar Railway Station which is 144km from Kasol. If you are wondering how to reach Kasol by train, then you can take a train to Joginder Nagar Railway Station and from there you can hire a cab to take you to Kasol. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Joginder Nagar Bus Stand which will take you to Manikaran which is very close to Kasol. *To reach Kasol by road, you have to get on to the NH-3 which is the main road that leads to Kasol on its way to Manali. The road journey to Kasol is full of scenic views and delightful little surprises along the way. Many people choose to drive as the experience can be quite different and refreshing
*The nearest airport is the Kullu Manali Airport, also known as Bhuntar Airport. Bhuntar is around 30kms from Kasol and you can hire a cab or a taxi to take your from Bhuntar to Kasol, once you land at the airport. UpvoteCommentYou can take a bus from Delhi to Bhuntar and from there you've local buses that will take you to Kasol. The weather would be very cold and temperature would drop to minus degrees. You can see my published trip about Kasol.

Hey Harigobind, I am studying in BHU, Varanasi from last 5 years but i willnot be here in January. Best i can do is that i can tell you best things to do here. Things to do in Varanasi : 1) Sarnath (Take a auto from BHU main gate or Lanka,Rs 50 per person) 2)Temples lik Old Vishwanath temple,Sankat Mochan ,Birla mandir. 3)Evening Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. After aarti walk from Dashashwamesdh to Assi ghat ( it will take 20 minutes. Most of the ghats of varanasi will be covered.) 4)Wake up at 4:30AM and go to Assi ghat and see morning aarti and sunrise.After that take a boat ride that will take you across all the ghats (Rs50 in share boat ) 5)You can also go to Devdari or Rajdari waterfalls if you have more days. 6)And for the delicacies try Bhaang Thandai (In godowolia),Non veg at Shah chicken (nayi sadak in Godowolia),Kerala cafe (Bhelupur), Paav bhaaji (at assi ghat), Kullad vali chai (At Kashi cafe at assi ghat),Lassi from pehelwan lassi (Lanka). 2)Goa
3)Rann of Kutch

UpvoteComment1000 bucks is to much u can stay much cheaper ..am alao be in goa on 15 of January i booked my hotels for 6 people tat will be 100-150$ so u can book more cheaper for singel person.. plz let me know if u need any help i can help u
UpvoteCommentHye Jack, For budget stay you may search for the hostels or zostels in Goa. And if you are thinking to travel Goa on bike or scooty ( Rs800-1000 per day on rent) which would be a better option. Then there is no need to book costly hotels near Calangute beach. You can book cheap hotels atleast 5-10 Km far from crowded area. Hope this would help you.

Hey Puneet, According to the latest news only this has been cleared that Sikhs can visit Kartarpur Sahib without any visa. I think Non-Sikhs might need a visa. But it isn't easy to get Pakistan visa without any specific reasons like religious or meeting an old family member there.

TNSTC is offering bus from madurai to munnar. Most people prefers cars and vans for travel to munnar at their occassion so private travels are not available so far.
