These days as New year and sunburn are coming prices are way too high but I would recommend booking a hotel which has a pool and enjoys your own pool party( I'm considering that you are going in the group).

UpvoteCommentHey Amritaparna, I think mountains are best place. I celebrated my last birthday alone in the mountains ( went on a trek ). You may go to Parvati valley (if stuff lover),Trithan valley or go for any trek in Uttrakhand.

UpvoteCommentHi david, Goa is going to be beautiful in December. But I would suggest , dont just stick to the regular touristy places in Goa. Explore the interiors of Goa. Its a world in itself. Try looking at this app called Triplived. https://www.triplived.com/Index#/ It has some well curated experiences by genuine hosts in Goa and rest of the country too ! Go to Ranthambore Tiger Reserve(maharajas of Jaipur always being here for hunting and chances of tiger, it depends on your luck ????????) and famous Ganesh Temple(you'll find awesome view there, behind the temple).

To see places in south Goa are :- Cabo de Rama - Ruins of Portuguese fort Colva beach Galgibaga beach Mahadev temple Cotigao wildlife sanctuary Three kings chapel Palolem beach Patnem beach Rajbagh beach Butterfly beach:- Take a boat from Palolem or Agonda beach and reach Butterfly Island or Beach. You can also take a 2 hour trek to reach this beach. This beach is accessible all 7 days of the week and you the time is from 9 am to 5 pm. Sri Lanka is a big Island and will take at least 6-7 days to cover Colombo and southern beaches like Hikkidua , bentota and Galle. Add another two days if you want to cover Kandy and other places

AnswerWishlistHey Gaurav, December is off season for tourists in Leh so there will be not many hotels open at that time. So make a prebooking before going there. You can search hotels on Oyo,Make my trip or Trivago.

You also have bungee jumping in Rishikesh... You have lakshman jhula and ram jhula in rishikesh ... You have Haridwar ganga aarati to witness .. You have devprayag and rudraprayag on the way ... You can witness ganga and Alakananda rivers confluencing in Devprayag.... You have joshimath to look out for ... And more than anything the journey from Delhi to Auli will be adventurous as roads are serpentine and take you through gorgeous mountains .... Happy Travelling Bro!!!

Hey Shiva, You can go for Chadar trek in Feb in leh. There are many trekking companies that provide packages. But best two are Trek The Himalayas and India hikes. And in Feb you cannot go to Leh via road so only option is via plane.

You can visit Rajasthan. In 5-7 days, you can cover 2-3 cities. The weather will be nice and it is great place to visit. Or you can alternatively go for Himachal and experience the snow there. Hope that helps
