Unlike the North or the South, North East is still barely explored. Make sure you carry spares ( clutch & breaks cables, puncture kit, inflators ) as finding repair shops beyond Assam will be rare. Food too is not easily found on the highway beyond Assam. Locals are very vary of visitors and strangers, make sure you follow traffic rules and respect the local culture. Avoid riding at night or after Sun down. I started my journey of thump riding in the north east and the terrain is beautiful. Ride on!

The best way to go to such idol workshops is by contacting local Ganesh Utsav samiti who hosts the festivities. They will help you out in this. I visited Palampur, Bir, Billing and it's surrounding areas in the Kangra Valley. Very beautiful, and you can extend the trip for 1 week to really enjoy all that the place offers. This area is also connected through toy train.

Is it advisable to travel to Coorg and Mysore in 1st week of October ?

AnswerWishlistYou can visit Mysore anytime but Coorg administration has stopped all resorts/stays and tourism activities as of now due to heavy rains and landslide.

You can check out Bloomrooms@ calangute. It's a new property, well maintained, quiet close to baga beach. Excellent stay option. I stayed there this Feb'2018. Had a great time!

Hey if you want a very cheap places to stay in goa ,then hostels are the best ones if you are comfortable with that , lot of cheap hostels are there in each part of goa, in arambol dreamcatchers hostel, happy panda hostel, no name hostel, like that lot of hostels are there , you can book room online through various sites like bookings.com, hostelward etc.
another thing is arambol and baga are bit far away so you have to decide whether you have to stay in baga or arambol
arambol is more hippie type beach and personally I like arambol more than baga and I stayed in arambol during my stay in goa.

( Unless you are already living on an island) :) As per your budget, Goa should be a good idea if you book your flights and hotels in advance. Also it would be buzzing in goa around that time of the year since its closer to new year's eve and there would be a lot of parties happening. So if you are a party couple; you can totally plan a party hop one of the nights of your stay. Cheers !

You can visit places like Jhakoo Temple, Chadwik Falls, take a walk around Indian Institute of Advanced Studies. You can also head to nearby places like Kufri, Shoghi (for some offbeat experience) and Mashobra.

Travelling to Ladakh in only 5 days will be completely action packed thing. You can reach Ladakh by flight, deboarding at Leh airport. I would suggest you to stay in Leh for atleast 1 day to acclimatize before heading to Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake. You also take short roadtrip to Ladakh from Manali.
