Option 1 Aurobindo Ashram, French War Memorial, Gandhi Statue, Serenity Beach, French Colony, Pondicherry Museum, Promenade Beach, St. Basilica Sacred Heart Church, Chunnambur Boat House. Option 2 Choose a few places from the list above as per your wish and reserve quality time in the afternoons and evening for shopping or just laze around the streets of the old town! Shopping in Pondy is really fun.. Places like Nehru Street, M.G. Road, St.Aurobindo Street, and nearby streets are the best for street shopping.. Option 3 This option is definitely for you if you are totally stressed out in your busy life and want a fully spiritual break! Either you can spend a day in Pondy and land in Auroville the next day or come to Auroville directly..There are a few places for accommodation here and quite a good number of restaurants.. Probably its a little costlier compared to Pondy and has less number of options for stay and food. But you would not care all that if you are looking for spirituality!

Hi Nithin, Hampi is an ancient village in the south Indian state of Karnataka. Its dotted with numerous ruined temple complexes from the Vijayanagara Empire. On the south bank of the River Tungabhadra is the 7th-century Hindu Virupaksha Temple, near the revived Hampi Bazaar. A carved stone chariot stands in front of the huge Vittala Temple site. You can explore the place during the weekend or probably 4 days. The nearest railhead from Hampi is Hospet that is at a distance of 13 km. You can hire taxi or cab to reach the place comfortably. Hospet is well connected to major cities and towns and some of them are Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa etc. I have attached an article on Hampi, you can go through it for more details on Hampi and places to explore around it.

Autorickshaw will charge you around 800/ to 1000/-- per day so the better option would be to rent a bicycle.

Hi viren its nice you are going on solo bike ride to leh yes you need to take some precautions as 1) Avoid smoking and drinking during the trip. 2) It is advisable to carry more cash with you rather than depending on ATMs. 3) Wear protective biking gear if you want your limbs and head to remain intact in case of any unfortunate incident. 4) Try carrying extra petrol with you, as there are sparse petrol pumps on the stretch. Carry with you an extra puncture kit, accelerator cables, clutch cables, tubes, fuses and air pump.

Hi Viren, There are a couple of things that you need to take care of, before you venture out to Ladakh. AMS: Acute mountain sickness is one thing that you need to prepare for in advance, carry Diamox and take it before you reach Keylong, if you are taking the Manali route. As a general rule, rest for a day or two after every climb of 2,000ft of climb above 8000ft. This will give your body plenty of time for acclimatization. Cash: You might not find ATMs for stretches, so you need to carry enough cash at all times. Network Connectivity: At most places in Ladakh there are only post paid BSNl connectivity, you need to make your arrangements accordingly, and inform your dear ones before hand. Permits: Tourists are required to obtain a Protect Area Permit for visiting restricted areas including Tso Moriri, Tso Kar, Pangong Tso Lake, Dhahanu and Nubra Valley. One can obtain these permits through registered travel agencies. While travelling, its advisable to carry six copies of the permit as these are required to be submitted at the checking points. Other medicines/petrol: Like ATMs, hospitals and petrol stations are scarce, stock up accordingly. Carry multiple copies of identity proofs. Always wear layers of clothing to keep yourself warm. Do not underestimate the weather and the cold. Drive safe, and get proper rest every night.

Hey Leh-Ladakh not only an adventure place but it consists of monasteries, temples, lakes, valleys and incredible backdrop. 7 to 8 days are ideal to explore Ladakh The various places that you can visit are:- Shanti Stupa : It is a Buddhist white-domed stupa. It is situated on hill top. Its beautiful architecture will memorize us. Hall Of Fame : It is a museum that exhibits war weapons, various weapons etc. This museum built by Indian army. We come to know about various Soldiers who have sacrificed their life for our safety. Its truly pride taking moment. Magnetic hill : I can say it as magical hill. It is a small stretch where it is appears to be uphill but it is downhill. We can also recollect our lessons about law of gravity. Khardung-la Pass : It is the highest motarable road. It trills all the riders. I feel the best way to enjoy Kahrdung-la is in bike. Nubra Valley : It is a tri- armed valley with stunning scenery. I can tell it is a truly breathtaking view. Hundur Monastery : It is also known as Hundur Gompa. It is one of the Buddhist Monastery. It is known for its sand dues and cold deserts which surrounds it. Diskit Monastery : It is the biggest Monastery i have ever seen. It has a gigantic Buddha statue on it. It is the oldest Monastery in Leh- Ladakh. Pangong Lake : This lake is truly amazing. The view of this lake is mind blowing. I bet the picture of this lake will be our laptop and mobile screensaver for many days. One can say it as paradise on earth. It is situated at a height about 4350. For more suggestions you can visit or contact Experience Your Stay With Fun and Freedom.
