Hi Rajesh, two days is a relatively short time for an international trip. However, the best destinations for such a short trip from Bombay are Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles and Sri Lanka.

UpvoteCommentHi Diganta, December is an excellent time to visit Shillong, Cherrapunji and Dawki. You can fly to Umroi Airport, Shillong. Spend a couple of days exploring Shillong before hiring a taxi to visit Cherrapunji (80km) and Dawki (85km from Cherrapunji). You can spend a night in Cherrapunji and head to Dawki the next day. Its good you got credits but you need to earn more credits for that you can redeem.
UpvoteCommentHi Ananya, you need a minimum of 600 credits to get discounts on travel packages or stays. Why don't you work towards earning more credits? There are three ways of earning credits. Publishing your travel content on Tripoto will give you highest credits. The number of credits you earn for your travel content depends on several factors. You can refer to the following page to understand factors: https://www.tripoto.com/tripoto-credits. Another way of earning credits is by participating on the Tripoto Forum. Different parameters will decide how many credits you will receive for doing so. For more information, refer to the page I mentioned above. The third way of earning credits is by inviting your friends. More information regarding that can be found on the same page. After you have 600 or more credits head over to https://www.tripoto.com/get-paid-to-travel-contest to redeem them.

It's advisable to visit Ajanta Ellora in winters. Visiting these caves require a lot of walking, thus should visit when the weather is on the colder side. August may get a little humid.

Hey, If your plan is fixed then its better to book hotel beforehand as it might get costly and out of budget once you reach there. yes you can book online there are a plenty of sites. you can conpare different hotels on Trivago, Booking.com and Airbnb for home stay for a much more adventure and budget friendly experience try staying in hostels. UpvoteCommentHi, The weather in Cherrapunji remains pleasant and comfortable for most part of the year. but it receives heavey rainfall from june- September so better avoid monsoon and yes good time for active falls in early November Hope this answered your question Rashmi

Uttrakhand itself as a whole is mesmerizing during August (post monsoon) as all the hills are converted into lush green valleys and clouds are always by passing you, however Uttrakhand has two sides of it - Kumaon & Garhwal. Kumaon leads over Garhwal if you do not want to go deep into Uttarkashi, hence my advise would be to head towards Mukteshwar in Kumaon if you are looking for a peaceful and serene trip.
